If you have gluten intolerance, or celiac disease, you already know how frustrating it can be to have to live a gluten-free lifestyle...But it doesn't have to be that way. When you educate yourself and take action you can live a healthy, happy, gluten-free life. Gluten is a type of protein that is found in flour. It is speculated, however, that viruses or infections can trigger changes in your immune system that lead to celiac disease. What Can You Eat? If you are gluten intolerant you obviously need to avoid all foods that contain gluten. Do not eat any foods made with wheat, rye, or barley. Don't drink any beer or ale. If you are unsure whether or not you can eat or drink something, just check the ingredients.
